Ammulu is a warm, inclusive, and dynamic platform created to support the diverse needs of Indian women living in Singapore. What began as a small WhatsApp group of just three women has blossomed into a vibrant community of more than 2,000+ members, all united by a shared vision of strength, sisterhood, and growth.
Our journey started with a simple purpose: to create a space where women could feel supported, heard, and encouraged to pursue personal development in every area of life. Over the years, this mission has grown into a powerful movement of connection, empowerment, and collective progress.

Our Story
Founded to support women building a life in Singapore.
Ammulu was founded on September 20, 2014, with the heartfelt hope of building a supportive community for Indian women making Singapore their home. Many of us arrived as first-generation immigrants, carrying the responsibility of supporting our families while adjusting to a new environment.
For women coming from rural backgrounds or embarking on careers for the first time, the challenges were even greater. We missed our families, navigated the demands of household responsibilities, and cared for young children, often without a support system.
What started as a simple WhatsApp chat among three women quickly grew into a family of 100, then 500, and today, over 2,000+ inspiring women. This growth is a reflection of our shared dedication, resilience, and belief in lifting one another up. Ammulu continues to champion women by offering moral support, community bonding, and opportunities for those aspiring to start their entrepreneurial journey and attain financial independence.

To bring together the Indian community in Singapore by creating a platform where women can connect, learn, grow, and empower one another. Through Ammulu, members gain access to educational workshops, cultural and social gatherings, spiritual programs, and health-focused activities designed to enrich their lives.
